Despite being released over 30 years ago, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi continues to surprise us. For example, a new deleted scene from Episode VI of the space saga has just made its way online.

A Youtube user by the name of Mokkari77, recorded the scene from the Making of Return of the Jedi Kindle edition. In the scene, Emperor Palpatine orders the destruction of Endor if the Death Star's shield generator is destroyed. The clip's quality isn't great, but it does feature some pre-special-effect light-sabers. Check it out below:

Now, I know some old school Star Wars fans weren't exactly enthusiastic about the cute and cuddly Ewoks, with some critics suggesting they were merely added by George Lucas to increase toy and merchandise sales.
