Nassim Faras "The Young Dragon" Lahrizi will be taping a segment on "The Queen Latifah Show".

The young martial arts sensation - at the age of nine, already has five World Championships and 108 major titles - caught the eye of someone at Latifah's gabfest and they contacted his father, Hamid.

"It was a complete surprise", says Hamid Lahrizi. "We did not contact anyone at the show. They contacted us. I think someone said they saw Nassim's demo reel on YouTube and after that they wanted to have him on."

As for "The Young Dragon", Nassim Faras Lahrizi is excited about the opportunity being on "The Queen Latifah Show" represents to promote both himself and his first movie, "The Martial Arts Kid" - which is headlined by martial arts legends Cynthia Rothrock and Don "The Dragon" Wilson.

"I'm very excited to be making a karate movie with Don "The Dragon" Wilson and Cynthia Rothrock", he says. "I'm going to feel great about being on 'The Queen Latifah Show' and I'm very excited to be on the show!"

"The Young Dragon" wants it known he will not just be talking on the popular program. "I'm going to do a demonstration", he says. "With weapons."

Hamid Lahrizi says that both Don "The Dragon" Wilson and his brother James Wilson - who is a producer on "The Martial Arts Kid" - will be attending the taping of "The Queen Latifah Show" today.

However, there is one person "The Young Dragon" will be most happy to see. His father, Hamid. "He's like my best friend", says Nassim Faras Lahrizi. "We're almost always together and when I'm training, he helps me to do stuff - he helps me (to get better)."

The episode of "The Queen Latifah Show" with Nassim Faras Lahrizi should air sometime in the next week. Check your local listings.
