In the world of adaptations, some things just have to get cut.

Luckily for us Hunger Games fans - while we wait for Mockingjay to surface come November 21, we have some previously unseen deleted scenes for you from the second installment in the Hunger Games tetralogy, Catching Fire.

Did that get you going for the third installment of the popular YA franchise? After having barely escaped the arena of the last Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as a refugee in District 13. The leaders of the rebellion want her to spearhead the uprising against the tyrannical Capitol with its leader President Snow (Donald Sutherland). Yet Katniss is hesitant. Will she become what the people always saw in her: the Mockingjay, the symbol of the revolution?

More importantly for the moment, after watching the deleted scenes above, does anyone think there is a chance that they will ever release an Extended Edition released? I know that there are only over four minutes of scenes that will be included on the DVD, but Francis Lawrence has said in the past that his original cut of the movie was over three hours long. I would LOVE more than anything for there to be an Extended Edition! Wouldn't you?
