The lineup for the taping of an episode of "The Queen Latifah Show" on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 was impressive. REO Speedwagon performed and actress Felicity Huffman was among the guests.
But Nassim "Young Dragon" Faras Lahrizi stole the show.
The 9-year old - who already has 5 World Championships, 108 major titles and a big role in the upcoming film, "The Martial Arts Kid" - was impressive both in answering Latifah's questions and in a weapons demonstration.
The praise for his performance came instantly from all over, starting with James Wilson, a producer on "The Martial Arts Kid".
"He was great", says Wilson. "He really made an impression on the audience."
People started chiming in on Lahrizi's performance on "Latifah" with social media as well.
"One true talented little star in the making", said CJ Livermore, CEO and Founder of Soundsunique Records, on his Facebook page. "So proud to be friends with this little man and his dad."
"I'll say it again this boy is going to be the next Bruce Lee", Livermore continued. "You mark my words."
"This is my Hero I believed in Him from the first Day . I was the first one to interview him and his dad GM Hamid Lahrizi when the community was asleep", said Rslou El, CEO of Jota TV on his Facebook page."Hope now ya'll understand the importance of being involved with the new generation that needs our attention!! I want to thank his dad who put a lot of time and energy to make him who he is today. Great family !!!"
"The Young Dragon" had said before the show that this would be, in his words, "The biggest day of my life. I feel like Prince Nassim as the guest of the "Best Queen" on "The Queen Latifah Show".
Sounds like "The Young Dragon" was ready for it. The episode of "The Queen Latifah Show" featuring Nassim Faras Lahrizi will air on April 10, 2014.
"The Martial Arts Kid" is scheduled to hit theaters next summer.
