Mondo has officially caught Disney toon fever with their new Art Show Nothing’s Impossible. The show tilts towards the edgier and dark side of the Mouse House’s animated kingdom.
Mondo is the collectible, art poster wing of the Alamo Draft House cinema chain based in Austin, Texas. The Mondo show coincides with Austin’s annual South By Southwest Festival (SXSW), a 12 day music, film and interactive art showcase, that runs from March 7-16th. Oh My Disney (the blog part of the company) is hosting the Nothing’s Impossible exhibition at Mondo’s own gallery.
Ken Taylor, Martin Ansin, Kevin Tong, Tom Whalen, Aaron Horkey, Daniel Danger, JC Richard, and Mike Mitchell, will present new pieces.
“Disney has a special way of bringing out the magic in all of us,” Mondo CEO Justin Ishmael said in a statement. “We hope our work sparks the imagination of both Disney and Mondo fans.”
