A virus is sweeping through the city at an extraordinary rate, infecting 3.4 people every second. There is widespread panic, bodies are torched with flamethrowers and the entire city is put under quarantine - and the government must decide whether to kill off the citizens of an entire city in order to stop the virus spreading.

This is the plot of the high-budget thriller Flu, which comes from South Korea. It is set in Seoul, one of the most densely populated cities in the world, and it shows the devastating effects of a deadly bird-flu-like virus.
