Not long ago I posted my list of the most anticipated characters who had been announced to be in an upcoming Marvel, Fox or Sony Marvel Comics movie. Now, I want to get to the list of people from my many years of collecting and reading comics that I most want to see; especially those who have been teased and hinted at. So, some of these will have been mentioned as maybes, but a lot of these end up being my MARVEL WISH LIST. (And this is just for the movie franchise that are producing now)

13) Kang, the Conqueror

Kang, the Conqueror
Kang, the Conqueror

Now, this one is totally out of left field and highly unlikely (thus the final 13th slot). But stay with me. The whole thrust of the Avengers trilogy is the Infinity Gems/Guantlet, correct? Well, one of those ‘gems’ happens to be one that effects time. If they can do it without totally losing half the audience, I think Kang the Freakin’ Conqueror is the man for the job. For those of you who have no idea who I’m alluding to, let me take you back to the first year of the Avengers; 1964 in fact. Avengers issue #8. A time traveling annoyance who called himself Kang, the Conqueror, began his first of many incursions into our time line and made the Avengers his #1 project. Who better to hold the Infinity Gem of Time? Long shot, I know. But one can dream.

12) Nimrod

Nimrod
Nimrod

Of all the things that have traveled through time, none captures the imagination as the Xmen baddie NIMROD. Nimrod was the pinnacle of the sentinel project. He was the greatest of the mutant hunters and, in his final form, was able to take human form (anybody remember Bastion?). With Fox delving into what seems like the greatest alternate futures of the Xmen genre (ala Days of Future Past and MAYBE Age of Apocalypse), it would make sense for them to end it all with the ultimate Mutant killing machine. I mean, if you’re gonna pull out all the stops, this seems like a logical move.

11) Giant Man

With the movie, ANTMAN coming next year, there is a buzz about him and Wasp joining up with the Avengers. It only makes sense that Pym’s shrinking gas, the Pym Particles, will be reversed to bring one of the biggest Marvel Avengers to the big screen too. Not too much a leap folks. It would be a great sequel, eh?

10) NOVA

Nova
Nova

Starring in Guardians of the Galaxy this summer is the elite corp of warriors from Xandar, the NOVA CORP. They are led by Rhomann Dey played by John C. Reilly. How does this lead to the comic hero, Nova? Easy. Something happens and Dey crashes on Earth and chooses one Richard Rider to take his place. Becomes sort of Green Lantern meets Iron Man. Nova would be a great 3rd or 4th generation stand alone.

9) Mr. Sinister

Mr.Sinister
Mr.Sinister

If Xmen: Days of Future Past leads where I think it does (ie Age of Apocalypse), it only seems fitting that we see the Sinister one himself. Yes, since 1987, Nathaniel Essex aka Mr. Sinister has skulked around in the shadows manipulating the ways of mutants and plaguing the Xmen every step of the way. Even if they don’t take the plunge into the Apocalypses triumphant alternate future, Sinister is a great idea. He’s always been there and is always involved. Maybe instead of AoA, we can get a Mutant Massacre trilogy down the road?

8) She Hulk

She Hulk

If you check the casting of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, you will see a certain Jessica Walter listed nonchalantly amongst the bit players. The untrained eye would have bypassed it without a thought. But a ‘true believer’ would know that this is the name of none other than the lawyer cousin of ole Jade skin himself. That’s right, they have at the very least tipped a hat to the She Hulk! With the Hulk getting more and more uncontrollable, She Hulk could not only be a great replacement in the Avengers, she could maybe help revive the movies.

7) Adam Warlock (Soul gem)

In the ending credits of THOR: The Dark World, we saw our first glimpse of the Immortal Collector. In his Collection, we see a huge cocoon under glass. This remarkably resembles the very cocoon that one Adam Warlock emerged from so long ago. Of all the characters involved with Thanos and the Guardians, Warlock is a the fan favorite and could carry his own stand alone movie.

6) CABLE

I believe Cable is on top on the time traveling Xmen characters wish list for most fans. The only problem is that his back story is complicated. That is if you use the age old story from the original comics cannon. I mean, even I would admit that it would be quite complicated to play out the whole baby boy of Scott and a cloned Jean who was wisked off to the future to prepare to save them all. Yeah, convoluted to say the least. BUT, although I haven’t read a lick of ULTIMATE XMEN, I am told that the Ultimate Cable is simply a future version of Wolverine. AND with Hugh Jackman talking the death of Wolverine, this may be the twist we haven’t been looking for. Hugh Jackman as a future Wolvie? IDK. Either way, Cable must happen.

5) Franklin Richards and Rachel Summers

Franklin Richards and Rachel Summers

Now, I’m reachin’. In the original story DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, two lovelorn future mutants were showcased that sparked all of our imaginations. I’m, of course, talking about an adult Franklin Richards and Rachel Summers. Unfortunately, there would need to be a bit of back-story work. Not only that, but we would need to get that Xmen/Fantastic Four crossover we have had hinted at for the past few months. You see, Franklin Richards is the son of Reed and Sue Richards of the Fantastic Four. Worst yet, Rachel is insinuated to be the child of Scott Summers and Jean Grey. Talk about having do a massive dance to get this to make sense fast. But I REALLY wanna see it!

4) A decent Dr. Doom and/or Mandarin

Dr. Doom and Mandarin

Ok, I’m not going to go on and on about how we got screwed out of both of these masters of evil. I’m just holding out for the day we get to see the real thing in all it’s glory!

3) Carnage and the other Symbiotes

Carnage
Carnage

So far Sony has promised us a Venom movie. Awesome! What I hope and pray for is Symbiotes Trilogy! You start with a Venom movie where he struggles with the alien and ends up being the instrument of vengeance we all know and love. But, what after that? Segue into the Carnage epic! He’s the one we really want now. Give us epic Venom, yes. But Carnage would be titanic. THEN, on top of all that, put the two of them together in a world war with an invading Symbiotes army. Heck, call it Maximum Carnage!

2) Black Cat

Black Cat
Black Cat

Another Spiderman villain/supporting character, the Black Cat has been whispered about ever since they rebooted the franchise. It is TIME! SONY, make it happen! All I’m gonna say!

1) The Sinister Six (the remaining members)

Mysterio, the Vulture, a New Doc Ock and Norman Osborn and/or The Green Goblin to lead them all! Spiderman fans have begged for this day and it has been promised. At this point, I don’t care who makes the cut, just make them COOL!!!!

Anybody I missed? I’m sure I did. Comment below.
