There have been movies and TV show that come out that start out for the young age group and moves up. Some movies stand out that leave an impact long-term.

This is a list of movies that are for young adults and for those that start out when your a child and grew to love the movie and show:

The Vampire Diaries series is one show I can recommend to those who are in to vampires, werewolves, and witches. It's based on the book by L. J Smith about Mystic Falls and the supernatural surrounding the town. The show centers on different characters like Elena, who lives in this town without her parents. Bonnie, who is a witch, who also lives in this town. Then you have the brothers of the bunch, Stefan and Damon Salvatore, their vampires going back to 1800s. Stefan falls for Elena, Damon falls for her too. This show has already have 5 seasons and some find this show to be entertaining, others find this show to be annoying. Their is one character who is now officially gone that I don't like after she first appeared. Katherine, who was played by the same actress, Nina Dobrev is gone. Their is one character that I like who I felt was annoying at first, but proved himself a worthy character to watch.

The Originals is a spinoff in some ways, but it centers on Klaus and Rebeka and their chance to retake New Orleans. Klaus has more problems in this show than Rebeka. For one thing, he has to deal with a chick from his past who is pregnant with his child. Marcel, the boss of the place isn't willing to let any original come back and retake New Orleans, specially Klaus and his brother, Elijah. It's your classic issues of whose betraying who in the series and how to unite the town without bloodshed. Their has been a law in place outlawing witches who live in secrecy and only do favors in return for their safety.

The Twilight saga is one that a lot of young cast have seen since 2008. The story itself centers on Bella (Kristen Stewart), who moves to Washington and falls in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and a werewolf, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). The series is based off of Stephanie Myers novels for the young audience. During the books, it shows more drama, than how much is put into the movie. Breaking Dawn, being one of the longest books in the series deals with not just a marriage and Bella's pregnancy. But reactions from human and mythical side a like. Charlie (Billy Burke) comes to understand that Bella had to go through changes to get better, but becomes a grandfather to Renesmee. The issues from book 2 on up deals with the Volturi coven and the result is a show down towards the end of book 4 where Aro was forced to understand that vampire hybrids can co-exist with humans and vampires with out drama. Leaving Bella's daughter, Renesmee to live a good life without bad endings.

The Hunger Games started out as a book series by Suzanne Collins and ended up in theaters with 2 of 4 of the series on dvd already.

The story starts out as the 74th Hunger Games allowing one girl and one boy to lead their district to victory. Katniss Everdeen volunteers after her sister, Primrose Everdeen is chosen to represent district 12. Peeta Malark is chosen to represent district 12 as well. From their, they go to the Captiol, where they are presented to President Snow, then their taken to the practice room where the district members 1 thru 12 are given lessons in survivor skills to make it thru the games. The day of the games, their sent thru to an arena, where the games begin. At the start of the game, under half of the tributes lose their life, then before nightfall, one more is killed. An alliance was formed, and the leader was Cato (District 2), among the members happens to be Peeta. The group finds Katniss, but are unable to kill her. Rather than climb trees and risking getting killed, Peeta recommends waiting it out until Katniss comes down. Overseeing the group, but able to help Katniss is Rue (District 11). Katniss sees that she is suggesting to cut a tree with live Tracker jackers. The plan works, but with side affects. While the tracker jackers caused hallucinations in Katniss, they took the life of a girl from district 4. Katniss fell and was out for a couple of days, with the help of Rue. Katniss recovered and both girls planned to destroy a set of weapons and food that Cato's group had collected. With Katniss skills for using bow and arrow, a explosion caused a kid from another district to be killed, but another boy turned up to try and kill Katniss after Rue became trapped. Both had bows and arrow, but one hit Rue. Rue lost her life after with Katniss by her side. Before leaving Rue at her memorial site, Katniss gave the traditional district sign where district 11 saw it. Rue's father was angry, because the cannon sound didn't acknowledge Rue's death. Katniss finds Peeta with the camouflage coloring that he made to blend in with his surroundings, but was injured. While staying in a cave, Katniss and Peeta hear about "Needing something that a district member needs badly." While Katniss promised Peeta that she would stay, Peeta's leg was injured and without medical attention, he wouldn't make it. After heading out, Katniss was prepared to grab the bag, when Clove (District 2) jumped her. Before Clove was about t kill her, Thresh (District 11) grabs her off of Katniss and kills her in anger. Thresh was filled with rage, but stated this to Katniss "Just this one time, District 12." Katniss grabs the bag and makes a run back to where Peeta was kept. Peeta was more concerned of the wound that Katniss received in the scuffle from Clove. After another night in the cave and with the wounds healed, they could go home. President Snow announces that their is a slight rule change, 2 districts are left and they are from the same district, they would be crowned winners of the games. Thresh, Cato, and another girl are left after their district members were killed, leaving Peeta and Katniss to win. Somehow, Thresh lost his life, and the girl that was left died after eating poison berries. The finale sounds are heard and prior to the end, Cato turns up to try and turn his luck around by attempting to kill Peeta, Katniss take the bow and arrow and puts one in Cato's hand, leaving Cato to his death. After a suspend rule change the next day, Katniss and Peeta attempt suicide by the berries, but Snow stops and announces them both as winners of the 74th annual Hunger Games. After the celebrations and returning to District 12, Peeta and Katniss maintain the holding of hands to show that they are united as victors

A year goes by and apart from the victors sweet being occupied, district 12 is peaceful. Peeta and Katniss were moved from the houses that they called home, to the victors homes. Their families too are able to benefit from living in the house. Katniss, Primrose, and Mrs. Everdeen get to do more than just search for food. They are able to help those who are injured as Healers. But for Peeta and Katniss, their is a price for being victors in the 74th annual Hunger Games. They are now mentors, and have to keep up with a "put on a happy face and romantic style," for the audience and President Snow. But with a slip up from Katniss while speaking to the members of Thresh and Rue's family that helped Katniss. Snow, not convinced that Katniss is keeping up the good deed of being a mentor. He decides that since last year was the 74th annual hunger games, this year is the Panem's third Quarter Quell, which is held every 25 years. Their are different set of rules: 2 district members who won before Katniss and Peeta compete. The tributes go through training exercises, but their is a helpful surprise for the tributes. They are allowed to pick others to be an ally on their team. Katniss and Peeta have a good bunch on their team: Wiress, Beetee, Mags, Finnick, Johanna, Blight, Seeder, and Chaff. Instead of a normal start of getting a bag and heading for the hills, this game is done in clock work. Most of the tributes die during the first couple of days. Katniss and Peeta lose some of their members, like Blight and Mags. Seeder and Chaff also lose their life. After a final stroke of test and will help from Beetee, some of the enemies are killed off. But Katniss is left unconscious. As she is lifted out of the games, the destruction of the arena takes place. Katniss comes to only to find not Peeta, but her friend Gale. Gale informs Katniss that District 12 was wrecked. While her mom and sister are okay, Peeta and Johanna are prisoners of President Snow. Gale tells Katniss that their going to seek refuge with district 13.

Having read the first book in 7th grade, Harry Potter was one of those heart touching, sad movies. Harry Potter was known in Jo Rowling series as "The Boy Who Lived." The whole series is about Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger, and their adventures in the series. What started out as a rated PG movie related to some films like "The Wizard of Oz," and "The Worst Witch," the films do take a dark turn from movies 4-7. The 3 most darkest of films from the series is "Goblet of Fire," "Order of Phoenix," and "Half-Blood Prince." From then on, the series goes from being a child's book, to a young adult series. The most dramatic that led to the ending is Deathly Hallows. The book was where it was split into two parts.

I've had my fair share of watching zombie movies and tv shows like "The Walking Dead." But I was on edge on "Warm Bodies." This movie was about the zombie apocalypse that took over a town. R is played by Nicholas Hoult (Beast in X-Men: First Class) and his love interest, Julie played by Teresa Palmer. R starts out as a zombie who was wondering the areas of the airport and other places that were affected by the out break. R just happened to be taking down a kid, when he finds Julie. Rather than killer, he takes her some place safe. Julie realizes that R was once human and is starting to become human again. The cure comes from one falling in love. Their are zombies who have become ravaged and not able to be saved. They must be killed off in order for the remaining zombies to live their lives as normal as they can. This is done overtime and the zombies are allowed into society where the remaining humans are.
