We should have seen it coming, but now it's confirmed. During an interview with Guardians of the Galaxy star on her upcoming movie Oculus, Karen Gillian confirmed an important battle between these blue and green alien females.

"Yeah, there's a big girlie fight sequence, but it's not that girlie. They made sure there weren't any nice pirouettes or anything like that."

These two alien girls, both related to Thanos, the Mad Titan, at different points in time (Gamora always considered related by adoption) might just make for one of the coolest scenes in the movie. Gamora is played by Zoe Saldana, who is also known for her role as another blue alien on the most successful film in history: James Cameron's Avatar. Karen also went on to tell us quite a bit about her villainous servant of Ronan.

Okay, so Nebula does not find herself funny. I find her hilarious. But she can't find herself hilarious, that's not scary.

Some other news she revealed has some fans worried that the movie is more of a parody of the comics than an actual adaptation.

I just think it's a new direction for Marvel, it's really, really funny. It's not taking itself seriously at all. It's tongue in cheek. And just to see people be excited about that new tone is cool.

Don't get your hopes down, though! Avengers is a comedy as well, and has some amazing action and obviously is the biggest Marvel Universe tie-in movie to date. Plus, the abundant humor goes perfectly with the kind of characters they need to develop in the movie, and coincides with the mood of the original comic stories as well.

Guardians of the Galaxy premieres August 1st of this year.
