Michael Pena confirmed today that he has indeed been in talks to play an important part in Edgar Wright-Directed Marvel project Ant-Man, which begins filming alongside Avengers 2 this summer, both with summer releases next year.
Hopefully things work out.
If Michael Pena just trying to keep a low profile on this role as long as possible, or is his casting in the movie really up in the air? Meanwhile, newly announced cast member Patrick Wilson confirmed that he has no costume, which leads us to believe he will not be playing any of the roles of Ant-Man.
Perhaps having two Ant-Men in the movie should be enough, considering they've already confirmed that the film will have not one but two different comic characters who play Ant-Man.
There is still no news as to if The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug star Evangeline Lilly is confirmed for the movie, but insiders say she will play the love interest of Ant-Man Scott Lang, and daughter of the first Ant-Man, Hank Pym.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will be producing the film himself, and the music composer for the award-winning Gravity will be composing the soundtrack for the film.
