Robert Rodriguez’s Dusk Till Dawn is coming out as a TV series, premiering on his El Ray network March 11th. It will feature the likes of Robert Patrick and Jake Busey. For those out there who don’t know what El Rey is, it’s a cable network focusing on darker titles, such as The X-Files, a Latin take on James Bond, and a Lucha Libre adaptation with a US focus. Then there’s Starsky & Hutch and random airings of Texas Justice. Other than that, it’s frequent movies, like old Godzilla, Bruce Lee stuff, The Crow, Fright Night, Kill Bill, The Warriors, The Grindhouse Duology, Dark Angel, and a reality show about giving an indie filmmaker $7k, seeing what (s)he comes up with and airing the content. There’s then the possibility of getting a bigger production budget and studio to help with a remake. Could be cool!

Oh, and if you want to see this stuff, El Rey has deals with Comcast, Univision, DirecTV and Time Warner Cable. In keeping with Rodriguez’s style, he's made a point to air all feature films uncut.

What do you guys think about this, especially the Dusk Till Dawn adaption?
