The Big Bang Theory continues to be the most watched comedy on TV so it's no surprise that CBS has announced the show has been renewed for another three years.
The Emmy-winning comedy premiered in 2007 and has since dominated the ratings. This season, The Big Bang Theory has averaged a huge 19.79 million viewers and taken top spot in the much-coveted adults 18-49 category.
Said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment:
Comedy is a big part of our schedule, and THE BIG BANG THEORY is the biggest comedy force on television. This multi-year deal further strengthens our network’s position for future seasons and marks another chapter in the great partnership CBS enjoys with Warner Bros. Television for delivering audiences the best in comedy. We’re proud to work with and showcase the incredible talents of Chuck Lorre, Steve Molaro and this amazing cast every week.
To be honest, I've never seen the appeal of this show, but clearly there's a lot of love out there for Sheldon Cooper and his gang. They're going to be doing their whole geek-cool thing for a long time to come.
Are you happy to get more Big Bang Theory or are you getting tired of the show?
