I know him as as Nathan Petrelli from Heroes. Yes that's right, Marvel has just announced that Adrian Pasdar (who was the voice of Iron Man/Tony Stark in Avengers Assemble) has been cast as Glenn Tablot in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I'm excited about this casting. Funnily enough in an interview with Marvel, Pasdar talks about how the casting came about. And it may just be because he's good at acting like a bit of a meanie:
"In the same way that Iron Man [in Marvel’s Avengers Assemble] came up. I got a call from my good friend, (Jeph Loeb), “Would you come and do this role?” and I read the character description and I thought, “Oh man. Here it is again. The sanctimonious [jerk]. That’s what they’re coming to me for.” [laughs] His way’s the only way! I said, “Jeph, are you trying to tell me something? No, not at all! Nobody can play this quite like you, but no.” [laughs] So he came to me and I said yes."
If you haven't been watching the show, it's about small team of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division) agents put together by Agent Phil Coulson to handle strange new threatening, supernatural cases on Earth. The trailer is here if you need further convincing.
