There has been a lot of talk among fans as to whether there will be an X-men: Days of Futures Past and Avengers 2: Age of Ultron crossover. With Quicksilver appearing in both films, it does seem like the characters will have to somehow be related to each other. The fact being that Quicksilver was part of the X-men, and a primary Avenger has to mean something right? Actually the facts don't seem to matter as Fox's Quicksilver in Days of Futures Past who is being played by Evan Peters, and Marvels Quicksilver being played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, will be nothing alike. In fact Avengers 2 produced Kevin Feige is quoted saying " The characters (on the screen) are going to be very different, Other than their powers, general audiences might not even know that the two are related". Well there you have it, as much as it pains me to say there will not be an Avengers and X-men crossover. Although with these two movies debuting Quicksilver in live action for the first time, viewers will be able to make up their mind whether they prefer Evan Peters or Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the role when Days Of Future Past opens on 22 May 2014, followed by Avengers: Age Of Ultron on 1 May 2015.
