With Dr. Strange on the horizon, Marvel is making itself known that they are not holding back. Marvel currently has [Ant-Man](movie:9048) being played by Paul Rudd, which is set to be released July 17th, 2015 and Terry Crews already showing his interest in the role of [Luke Cage](movie:586393), which is set to be part of a miniseries on Netflix. And even some Dr. Doom rumors swirling around the water cooler. Let's not forget that [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) also set to be released May 1st, 2015. Later this spring [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973) is set to release April 4th and later in summer [Guardians of the Galaxy](movie:424073) is set to release August 1st. But with all that action happening who is capable of filling Dr. Strange's shoes?

Here's my Top 3 leading men that could fill those shoes. Not in any sort of order simply because each man can bring something the others can't. But at the end answer the poll question and you decide who you feel could fit from this list the best.

1. Benedict Cumberbatch

With the success of Sherlock Holmes, Cumberbatch could easily slide in the role already with a name made for himself and help add some star power to the Dr. Strange character. With his performance as Khan in the latest Star Trek film, Cumberbatch has proven that he can take any role and make it a role to be remembered, giving Dr. Strange exactly what it needs.

2. Christoph Waltz

Being such a diverse actor as seen in his roles from but limited to Django Unchained and Inglorious Basterds, to even his new movie Muppets Most Wanted. Sure it could be a far reach to see Waltz as Dr. Strange. But given that the part is a more magical and you could even just say Supreme Sorcerer like role that will be requiring intelligence to also play a part in the creation of Dr. Strange. Waltz even has the salt and pepper style hair to fit the character. By being a less of an action required role such at Ironman or Captain America being 57 years old maybe will be an alright age for the Dr. Strange character to be introduced.

3. Johnny Depp

has had his name linked to Dr. Strange already. Given his track record for playing numerous interesting characters such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands and even Sweeny Todd. Depp would be more then capable of playing Dr. Strange and offer the role some flare. Depp also has the talents to be part of movies that could offer multiple other movies or cameos that are usually seen in other Marvel movies. Being an incredibly talented actor, Depp could step up and show as much interest in the role like Terry Crews has done for the role of Luke Cage.
