The writers of Captain America: The Winter Solider, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, have announced that a script has been completed for the hour-long series ‘Agent Carter’ based on the character of Peggy Carter, played by Hayley Atwell, who first appeared in the first Captain America film.

Rumored to also be appearing in a recurring role, is Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, father of Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Even though it doesn’t have a green light yet, ABC and Disney are seemingly pleased with the script, which is said to be a thirteen or less episode season.

What are your thoughts? Is Agent Carter interesting enough for a TV series? Do you agree with the 13 episode season or should it be the standard 22 episodes?
