Apparently ScarJo wasn't the only actress in a Marvel superhero movie who was pregnant during filming. Halle Berry, according to the New York Daily News, was expecting her second child during the filming of the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. In fact, she had a significant baby bump when filming started.
Due to this, according to Berry's own words:
"Storm probably won't be as badass as she was going to be, because we won't be able to do any fighting or flying or things like that."
However, although she won't be in more than one scene, Halle also hinted of some character development that is much needed in the character of Storm.
"There's something very revealing and shocking about Storm in this movie that I thought was needed"
With news that Anna Paquin's ROGUE had been totally cut from the movie and, now, STORM is down to one scene, what female character is set to take the lead here? As I have discussed before, stronger female characters are what's needed in the future for comic movies to grow.
RUMOR WARNING: There is a possibility that this is just conjecture as there are conflicting sources. See note below from Comicbookmovie.com
Update: A source for SHH disagrees: "Good gossip that is sure to bring some traffic to your site, except that it isn't true. SHH has spoken to a very trusty source of the site, who says there is no truth to what the NY Daily News is claiming." Which source is right? Don't know. We'll find out this May.
We will indeed...
