Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have finally made their engagement official by throwing a star studded party with a Medieval twist. Could the happy couple be Game Of Thrones fans?

The quirky couple shunned more traditionally glitzy venues in the Beverly Hills area for the Medievally styled Carondelt House in downtown LA.

Alas, Johnny Depp didn't clunk out of his chauffeur driven ride in a full suit of armour, but the interiors definitely have more than a hint of stately castle styling about them.

Some of the celebrities that came along to raise a goblet to the couple include Jerry Bruckheimer, Marilyn Manson, Rick Ruben, Ryan Adams, Mandy Moore and the ever vocal Steve Tyler.

When entering leaving the party Tyler took the time to tell the paps that he;

loves that he's in love

in regard to his buddy, Johnny Depp and revealed that Depp's mother shone as the life and soul of the party. Bless.

It is not know exactly how long the [Transcendence](movie:703173) actor and Amber Heard have been officially engaged, but Heards epic sparkler was first spotted last month on the [3 Days to Kill](movie:768004) red carpet.

We might have to wait a while for a wedding though, the couples nuptial plans are being kept closely under wraps, but Depp does not have the best history. Despite now being engaged four times, the Hollywood heartthrob only made it down the aisle once in 1983... Three years before Amber Heard was even born!
