Reports are in that Joss Whedon, director of the highly successful Marvel's The Avengers and director of the upcoming sequel [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) directed a scene that will appear in [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973)... after the credits. This is basically confirmation that there will be an after-credits scene that teases something big upcoming in the next installment of the Avengers movie series. But what could they be teasing?

This comes from a rumor that surfaced from a supposed "highly reliable source" revealing the plot details of the post-credits scene:

“After the fall of both S.H.I.E.L.D. & HYDRA we see Baron Von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) in his underground lair. Loki’s scepter can be seen here, as well as 2 special prisoners: the “twins”. These are of course Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Quicksilver is bouncing from one end in his cell to another while Scarlet Witch is stacking some building blocks with her mind. Watching them, Von Strucker announces “The Age of Miracles” is upon us.

I could very well imagine Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch sitting in a cell playing jenga while her twin is trying to find something to entertain himself with. Who knows how long they've been sitting in those cells.

This post also struck up the conversation of what he meant by miracles. Though it's a stretch, the rumor also says that the word "miracles" is the Marvel Cinematic Universe replacement name for "mutants" which would mean Von Strucker is saying that the "Age of Mutants" is upon us. If this is true, then this might mean that other mutants that somehow fall under Marvel's contract rather than Fox's could very well be on the way to big screen!
