After years of hiatus, Terminator 5 is striding indefatigably forward with shotgun in hand.
Last week we heard that the sequel, officially titled [Terminator: Genesis](movie:34872), would be going back in time to the original events of Terminator 1 and 2, and today, the T-800 himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger has talked more about the nostalgic feel of Genesis. He told Collider:
The way it reads, it has the same feel of Terminator 2. It’s big. There’s hardcore action and it has some really great visual effects in there, but not over the top. It’s not a Thor type of movie, even though it’s the same director. It has good special effects, but just enough to say, “Wow, where did that come from? How did they do that?
It's great to see the Governator back in his most famous role, and from the sounds of things, it won't disappoint die-hard fans. Arnie also explained that filming was due to kick off at the end of April in New Orleans. With this in mind, it won't take too long for us to see more from the production.
What do you think? Are you glad Terminator: Genesis is keeping the same feel as Judgement Day, or would you prefer something a bit more original? Let us know below.
