Yes, Ochiai Masayuki may have sworn you off horror for life, with movies like Shutter and Infection, but don't hold a grudge. The director has already started filming the seventh installment of Ju-on, and judging by the stills, it's not to be missed. It has already been set for a June 28th release date.
An elementary school teacher named Yui (Sasaki) visits the home of a boy named Toshio Saeki (Kobayashi), who's been absent from school for a long period of time. When she arrives, she re-lives the horrific tragedy which occurred in the Saeki household 10 years earlier. A cardboard box left in a closet holds the key to revealing a long-hidden truth.
Sounds creepy, right?
Last week the poster for the latest installment in the Ju-on (Japanese The Grudge) franchise was released. Now we've been given a teaser trailer that is as ambiguous as it is creepy. It is obviously deliberately vague but we do get to hear that horrible clicking sound. Ugh.
Nozomi Sasaki is going to star alongside Kai Kobayashi as Toshio Saeki.
