Transformers is the franchise which keeps on giving. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the original Transformers animated television series, which seems incredible. It has just been announced that The HUB Network is launching a brand new Transformers animated series for 2015. Huzzah!

We've heard that the series will take place a few years after Transformers Prime’s conclusion. The series' main protagonist is going to be Bumblebee, who now leads a new team of Autobots.

The cast is pretty impressive: Bumblebee will be voiced by Will Friedle (Boy Meets World), and other characters will be voiced by Darren Criss (Glee), Constance Zimmer (House of Cards), and Ted McGinley (Married with Children).

The style of the series will honor its roots: they are going to use three-dimensional characters set against hand-painted environments, which I think is a great decision. Are you going to watch it when it comes out?
