Warner Bros. have announced the young actor who will step into the role of Peter Pan in their upcoming origin tale, Pan.

Director Joe Wright might have rounded up some impressive A-list names such as Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney Mara to play other big characters, but he has gambled on some exceedingly fresh blood for the title role.

Levi Miller is all set to become the Hook bashing feral child, despite his tiny crop of previous acting credits. The baby faced young actor's most high profile appearance to date was probably a short stint on FOX's 'Terra Nova', but look how cute he is!

Miller was discovered during casting calls in the U.K, so we can breath a sigh of relief that we won't have to worry about any dodgy British accents from London born Peter Pan. Phew!

Details about [Pan](movie:1173941) are reasonably sparse at present, but we do know a few basic plot details. The official synopsis reads;

Pan’ is “set during WWII and follows an orphan who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland, where he discovers he’s destined to save the land from the pirate Blackbeard

Now that the casting is coming together, who is excited to see the cock-crowing, gravity defying boy wonder in action?

Pan is slated for release on July 17, 2015
