Finally, Howie Askins' found-footage horror flick Evidence is crawling its creepy way into the comfort of our living rooms, as it comes home onto DVD on April 15.

Not to be confused with Image's movie of the same name, Osiris Entertainment will now release their Evidence, which goes a bit like this:

From the synopsis:

A group of friends take a camcorder to record their first camping trip. They quickly discover that they aren’t alone when a mysterious creature appears lurking in the woods. As the friends struggle to escape, they are led deeper and deeper into an ever more terrifying conspiracy that pushes the bounds of science. Will they escape with their lives, or will the camcorder footage remain as the only evidence of the experience?

Okay, so found-footage horror movies aren't nearly as fresh nowadays as they were when The Blair Witch Project came out, or even when Paranormal Activity re-invented the format in 2009. But if you ask me, Evidence offers up enough scares to make me want to re-watch it...A.S.A.P.

What do you guys think? Will you be taking the Evidence home with you? Let me know in the comment section below!

Don't forget - Evidence is getting a DVD release on April 15, 2014.
