Last night on the Marvel: Assembling a Universe special, we saw LOTS of amazing new stuff! We saw some new art for Guardians of the Galaxy:
Along with some awesome test footage for the upcoming Ant-Man:
But I think the thing that got us most excited was the new concept art for The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Unfortunately, we are still in the dark as to what Ultron himself will look like, but we FINALLY got our first look at Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, and they look SO much better than Bryan Singer's:
And we also got a solution as to what the Hulk scene shot in Johannesburg was:
I am probably a bit TOO excited for these movies, so excited that I almost missed something that could be HUGE to the plot of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Take a closer look at the Quicksilver art:
Now, we're supposed to be looking at and admiring Quicksilver, but what the heck is he smashing? It appears that he is kicking the gears out of a few Ultron-drones
I would be surprised if Ultron-drones hadn't been speculated before (so this may just be repeated stuff), but I think it is safe to say that this confirms it (more or less). In the Age of Ultron comics, Ultron literally has an entire army of these guys under his thumb. I suspect that he will be doing the same in the movie. One of which, will be this guy
I think Ultron will end up hacking Jarvis and putting him in a drone, which will end up becoming self-aware on its own, or being rebooted by Tony, and ultimately turn against Ultron.
What are your opinions? Do you think this theory has some chance at being correct, or am I way wrong? Let me know below!
