Since I watch Netflix A LOT and it has so many Different types of Movies to watch, I decided to look up some of their Animated Superhero Movies and found that it seems like at least these five, if not more of them, could actually be made into Live Action Movies fairly easily for the most part. I have listed these Movies/TV Shows in order from the easiest to the hardest (in my opinion) to be made into a Live Film. Keep in mind that even though I looked up Characters that were or were not in live action films, I didn't check to see if that Actor/Actress was available to make the film if it were to start shooting in the near future. So, with that being said, here are my top 5 animated Superhero shows that could get the Live Action Treatment fairly easily:
1. Hulk vs Thor
This Film takes place entirely in Asgard, similar to [Thor: The Dark World](movie:206462) and needs The Actors who play The Incredible Hulk/Bruce Banner, Thor, Sif, Loki, Odin, Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogun to reprise their roles. The casting Director will only need to cast Balder, Amora, and Hela as far as Main Actors goes. Everyone else will be extras or cameos (including Betty and hers & Bruce's 7-9 year old Son). That is why this Movie is Number one on the list and the rest of the films on the list will follow suit. The Plot is straight forward as well: Odin is in the Odin-Sleep for he goes through during the winter and has one more day before he wakes up, Loki knows this and with the help of Amora he is able to separate Bruce Banner from the Hulk (later killing him). Loki then takes control of the Hulk and almost kills Thor, but things go awry as they always do with him. Amora and Sif end up guarding Odin and keeping him safe from the Hulk while Loki ends up having to help Thor go to the underworld where Loki's Daughter, Hela, rules over the souls of the dead. They trick her into reuniting the two after the Hulk almost destroys one of the levels of the underworld. Since she can't keep Banner's Soul, Hela takes her father's instead and allows Thor & Banner to leave.
2. Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United
This film takes place on Earth and needs the actors who play the Abomination, Iron Man, and the Red Skull (Cameo) to reprise their roles. The CGI Department with have to find a way to make the Hulk speak intelligently because there is NO Bruce Banner in this Movie and they will have to bring Zazax (the main villain) to life as well. The Casting Director will need to find people to play Hydra and also about 10 Stunt people to play Wendigos (unless they decide to go CGI on them as well). This Story is also very simple and straight forward: Hydra hires the Abomination to bring the Hulk to them, which he does after a short fight sequence. They then double-cross him and use the two of them to try and make a Gamma Powered Nuclear-type Weapon. Of Course something goes wrong and Zazax is created instead. The rest of the movie is Iron Man showing up and helping the Hulk contain Zazax. One of the cool things about making this Live Action is all the Iron Man Armor we see in it - You have the Hulk wearing The Hulk Buster Armor for awhile, Tony wearing the Mark 6 & Mark 7 Armor, and Zazax talking control of the Mark 2 Armor for a short while (with a wall full of suits being seen on display as well, but not used). Toward the end is when the Red Skull comes into play, so you will have to watch it on Netflix to see how he ties into the plot.
3. Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore
This Movie also takes place on Earth and needs the actors who play Iron Man, War Machine, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Black Widow, Pepper Potts, Hawkeye, and Obadiah Stane (cameo) to reprise their roles. The Casting Director will need to find actors to play The Punisher (unless they get Thomas Jane or the other guy who played him to come back), Ezekiel Stane (about 8-10 years old and late teen/early twenties versions), A.I.M. Minions, and about 4 stunt people to play the Raiders (Ezekiel's henchmen). This movie starts off with Iron Man and War Machine racing to the launch of a Stark Industries satellite into space. As they get close to the launch site they are attacked by the Raiders in order to Ezekiel to have time to get into the launch Control area and kill all the people involved with the launch. Tony gets to him in time to watch him kill the last man and woman who had survived his earlier attack. Tony then tries to stop him from launching the Satellite himself to no avail. As Ezekiel leaves Tony hears War Machine looking for him and tries to get him to turn back, but he is to late and War Machine dies from a booby trap (or does he?) This is when Fury shows up and tried to stop Tony from going after Ezekiel. Of course that doesn't happen and the rest of the Movie is about how Tony hunts him down with The Punisher's help and how S.H.I.E.L.D. try to stop them. Check it out on Netflix to see how it ends.
4. Ultimate Spiderman
This Movie and the last one on my list will be the tricky ones to get green-lit for live action due to several factors. In the case of this Movie it is mostly due to the fact that Spiderman's rights are with Sony, whereas All the other characters (except for maybe White Tiger) are with Marvel as far as Live Action goes. However, with that being said, if Sony and Marvel could come up with an agreement this movie wouldn't be to hard to make. You would need the actors who play Spiderman, [Nick Fury](movie:589189), Iron Man, and Phil Coulsen to reprise their roles, and the Casting Director would need to find late teen to twenty-something actors to play Nova, Iron Fist, Power Man, White Tiger, Dr. Doom (unless they can get Julian McMahon to reprise the role), Venom, and the Frightful Four. This film would take place on Earth and being taken from the TV Show, I would use the pilot for most if not all of the movie. The story starts with Spiderman already a fledgling hero and Fury trying to recruit him for [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](series:722469) while Norman Osborn tries to turn him into a villain by using others while he hides in the shadows and watches what develops from his schemes. Fury has the rest of his team (Nova, Power Man, Iron Fist, and White Tiger) help Spiderman with the Frightful Four and that is what convinces Peter to join the team. Coulsen ends up being the principal of the school and the rest of the team are transferred there in their civilian ID's. There is a lot of friction between Peter, MJ, and Harry due to the new kids he is hanging around with that they neither one know anything about. Harry throws a party and Venom shows up causing Harry to almost get injured or worse, but MJ saves him. If you want to know what happens next check it out on Netflix. It is a good series and I think could make some awesome movies.
5. Justice League Unlimited
This is what I hope DC makes for their [Justice League](movie:401267) Movie Series. Why? Because they would be awesome! They would need the actors playing Superman, Batman, and [Wonder Woman](movie:45787) to reprise their roles and the Casting Director would have to find someone to play The Green Lantern (John Stewart), Supergirl (Late teens-early twenties), Green Arrow (unless they get Stephen Amell to play the part), Captain Atom, Martian Manhunter, Dr. Fate (cameo), Aquaman (cameo), Question (cameo), Red Tornado (cameo), Huntress (cameo), & Black Canary (cameo) (both of which could also come from the [Arrow](series:720988) TV Show as well). If they were to do this movie then it would take place partially on the JL Satellite and partially on earth. The movie would revolve around the initiation of Green Arrow into the league. It starts with Green Lantern getting Green Arrow after Green Arrow stops a robbery. They get beamed to the Satellite and listen to Superman's speech welcoming them to the league and this is where Arrow and Batman have a brief chat. Arrow decides not to join and is supposed to get dropped off after Green Lantern, Captain Atom, and Supergirl finish a mission. Of course, He ends up helping them save the day and Supergirl gets in trouble for going off without a plan. At the end, Arrow decides to stay after seeing that Black Canary has joined as well.
