Batman villain Harley Quinn turned up in the most recent episode of Arrow, or at least, her voice did.

Tara Strong, who voices the character, appeared in the credits under "Deranged Squad Female" in what was supposed to be an "Easter Egg"; that is, an inside joke that only those who had heard the harlequin-like villain and Joker accomplice in the Batman: Arkham series of video games would notice.

Look at the screen grab below confirmation:

But everyone noticed - and now the show's Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim has had to come out an lessen fans expectation with regard to how much of this character we will be seeing in Arrow. He said:

I want to manage expectations with respect to Harley Quinn. She was always intended to be an Easter egg. I don’t want people to go in with incorrect expectations and walk away from Episode 16 disappointed.

He went on to note that, especially with the Batman origins show Gotham soon to air on Fox, each and every character's rights must be negotiated individually with D.C.

But would you like to see Tara Strong as Harley Quinn making the move to Arrow? Do you think there should be more crossover between the D.C. characters in general? Write in with your thoughts below.
