Scarlett had a great idea that stirred up lots of excitement at the Captain America 2 premiere:
"If you want to see a Black Widow spin-off movie, then I want to see it...We will put the request into Marvel tomorrow." (Huffington Post)
How awesome would that be?! To find out what that "red on her ledger" is? To see what exactly went down in Budapest? There's a story behind those smokey eyes and killer moves just begging to be told.
But Kevin Fiege, head of Marvel Studios isn't quite so hot for the idea:
"Frankly if we do a Black Widow movie after 'Age of Ultron,' when she’s been central in three or four movies I don’t think we’d get the quote unquote credit for it...People would say, 'She’s already a big giant superhero!'" (Huffington Post)
Well you know what I say to that? COME. ON. KEV.
Everyone would go nuts for Black Widow because it would be AWESOME. Scarlett knows it, we know it, but Kevin? Not so much ...yet. ScarJo told the world from London's red carpet that if we want a spin-off, then so does she. So let's show them! Let's get this ball rolling!
