British actress Felicity Jones is one of a host of new faces set to cement their star status in Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and while there's been no confirmation on who she'll play, the rumors circulating the project are that she'll suit up as Felicia Hardy - also known as anti-hero Black Cat.
Well, it turns out said speculation is right on the money, as an official casting sheet for the Czech dub of the movie confirming that Felicia is set to make an appearance in the upcoming superhero sequel, which will presumably set up the Black Cat for a larger role in The Amazing Spider-Man 3.

Did the casting list just let the Black Cat out of the bag? The fact that "Felicia" is one of the speaking actors seems to make it a pretty safe bet that that Black Cat is indeed who Jones is playing and that the character will be in the sequel.
I can see Black Cat having a relatively small role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which will pave her way for future sequels. Marc Webb's second Spidey movie is already looking a bit superhero (and supervillain) heavy, so I'm not sure throwing another major character into the mix is such a great idea. That said, with at least two more Amazing Spider-Man movies coming our way, there's plenty of time to give Black Cat the screen time she deserves.
