At a recent interview promoting [Rio 2](movie:749506), an MTV presenter jumped at the chance to ask Jesse Eisenberg about his upcoming [Batman vs. Superman](movie:711870) project, set for release in 2016.

Everyone knows Eisenberg's casting as Lex Luther was a controversial one, but I think the fast-talking, sharp Eisenberg has just what it takes to play the complex Luther.

MTV asked Eisenberg whether he would be shaving his head for his upcoming role as Luthor in the Man of Steel sequel. Hinting at the ridiculous secrecy around Batman vs. Superman, Eisenberg joked:

“Oh, I’m not allowed to say anything about anything for the next six years... I haven’t called my mom back in months.”

While he's obviously joking, do you think that his reference to 'six years' could be an indication that he has signed up for more than the Batman vs. Superman feature, and that there are more to come? Half-joking but whole in earnest, as the saying goes. What do you think?

Batman vs. Superman is hitting theaters on May 6, 2016.
