Back in 2011, The Raid hit like a punch in the stomach, mainly because it was an Indonesian martial arts movie directed by a not-so-well-known Welsh man, with Silat specialist Iko Uwais giving us a look at the most talented action star to smash things on the big-screen since Tony Jaa.

Today, we have a brand new clip from Gareth Evans' sequel, The Raid 2: Berandal, which shows the return of Uwais, who seems to be in a spot of bother, stuck in a car.

The teaser does what all good teasers do and shows very little, but what it does show looks incredible. See for yourselves:

I knew Gareth Evans was pulling out all the action stops, but I still didn't anticipate that amount of awesome! When a movie's trailer is sound-tracked by punching noises, car screeches, and K'ihap, you know things are going to get messy...

What do you guys think? Can The Raid 2 recapture the brilliance of the first movie?

Don't forget - The Raid 2: Berandal smashes into theaters on March 28, 2014!
