Rise of the Planet of the Apes turned out to be one of the best blockbuster movies I've seen in years, especially since I was expecting a monumental simian flop. No surprise, then, that I’ve now got massively high hopes for the upcoming sequel…

Now, with Matt Reeves' Dawn of the Planet of the Apes set for a July 11, 2014 release, we've got our hands on a behind-the-screens still from the movie, in which the cast of the motion-capture scene appear to be turning monkeying around into a very special art!

From the synopsis:

The science-fiction pic is set 15 years after the first part and centers on the growing nation of genetically evolved apes, lead by Caesar. When a group of humans, who survived the virus that reduced their population drastically, become a threat a peace agreement is reached - a very fragile peace agreement...
