Good news for Pixar fans - you can now see exactly how the team animate their epic animated adventures. The legendary studio revealed details of their incredibly sophisticated animation system, Presto, during their Keynote speech at the GPU Technology Conference last week, and footage is available online now.

Focusing on Monsters University, the video reveals some fascinating details about just what goes into bringing Mike, Sully and the rest of the gang to life. For instance, every part of Sully is fully pose-able, live within the system - meaning animators can make him do whatever they want, whenever they want, all at just the click of a button.

In fact, there are over 1,500 different animation controls that go into moving James P 'Sully' Sullivan alone. Now the only question is, when do we get to try?

What do you guys think? Should the make this a new activity at Disneyland? Let me know your thoughts below!

How much would you like to have a go on the new Pixar animation engine?
