Emma Watson might be an actress, an Ivy League student and a model, but she is even more flexible than we first thought. The 23-year-old star has also revealed she is a qualified yoga instructor.
In an interview with Wonderland Magazine, Watson explained that when she graduates from Brown she will be relishing having the spare time to pursue her other interests, and even though acting gets a look in, it has plenty of competition! The multitalented actress explained that;
I feel like I have so much more to accomplish as an actress. I’d love to try theater and that’s a whole other thing. But when I finish my degree, I will have a lot more time to pursue other passions, and I want to figure out what those will be. I love having something completely unrelated to the film industry. I want to find something that will let me use my brain in another way. I like connecting people who aren’t part of that world too. I love painting. So maybe I hone in on that and do more art classes? Or maybe something different
When the interviewer reminded her that she was a bit of a dab hand at yoga, Watson chimed in;
Then, there you go. I can be a full-time actress and a personal part-time yoga teacher
According to Elle Australia, this was more than just a joke though. The magazine claims that she became an authentic yogi during the filming of [Noah](movie:204057), and is now qualified to teach.
Where did she find the time you ask? Apparently it was her hectic schedule that drove her to find refuge in yoga in the first play. When questioned about her love of the ancient Indian art Watson explained that;
It was like ‘I need to find a way to always feel safe and at home within myself. Because I can never rely on a physical place'
What would you do if Emma Watson rocked up as your yoga teacher one day?
