Like many excited superhero movie nerds, I went last night to see the release of the highly anticipated new Captain America movie. In my opinion, the movie was great; by far the greatest solo film of Phase 2. I noticed while I was watching the movie, they often referred to many other characters in the Marvel Universe we've seen in previous MCU films. At one point, Alexander Pierce mentions he wants "Iron Man to stop by his niece's birthday party". But one point in the film really caught my attention.
*ATTENTION: SPOILERS AHEAD* You have been warned.
One of the many great scenes in the movie is one when Steve Rogers and Black Widow confront Jasper Sitwell, a SHIELD/Hydra operative and high ranking one at that. Jasper ends up giving out valuable information, including how The Winter Soldier is an assassin and kills anyone SHIELD finds a threat, in where he says the names (quite fast by the way, I'm surprised I was the only one who caught it) Bruce Banner and Stephen Strange.
After this scene was over, I was super excited. I always had speculation that the unnamed Marvel movie coming out in 2016 would be Dr. Strange, and now it looks like it has been confirmed. I suggest going to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as it is an amazing film and one of the best in the MCU.
