The Batman franchise has been one of the best superhero franchises ever although their last movie, Batman & Robin, failed terribly. Batman & Robin was going to have a sequel with Joel Schumacher as director and George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, and Alicia Silverstone reprising their roles as Batman, Robin, and Batgirl. The movie was cancelled because of the terrible reviews for Batman & Robin but the movie which was titled Batman Triumphant, could have been one of the best Batman movies. Here is five reasons why Batman Triumphant would have been triumphant.

5. Nightwing might have been in it.

Although it is not confirmed Chris O'Donnell could have been Nightwing. In Batman & Robin he wanted to step out of Batman's shadow and he could have done it in Batman Triumphant and I've heard rumors that they were going to introduce Tim Drake to the Batman film series also. Tim Drake would have stepped in as Robin and Dick would have become Nightwing.

4. Jervis Tetch/ Mad Hatter

Robin Williams or Rowan Atkinson would have played this fun villain.
Robin Williams or Rowan Atkinson would have played this fun villain.

Mad Hatter was to be a supporting villain and would have had an origin close to the Riddler in Batman Forever. Mad Hatter has never been in a film before and would have been nice to feature him as a villain. Jervis was to be played by Robin Williams or Rowan Atkinson. Would you have enjoyed seeing Mrs. Doubtfire become the Mad Hatter or would you have preferred Johnny English playing the part?

3. Howard Stern as Scarecrow! Hey, that could work!

Howard Stern was set for the role of Scarecrow.

Yes, that's right. Howard Stern was seriously cast as Scarecrow and to be honest I think he would have done a great job. Howard Stern looks like Dr. Johnathan Crane and he is a darker kind of guy. He could have pulled it off and we could have been sitting at home watching his genius right now.

2. Joker would have returned in a cameo.

Jack Nicholson's Joker would have returned in a hallucination of Batman's caused by Crane's fear toxin. Now would it have been Jack Nicholson in the hallucination I do not know but I'm sure Jack would have done it.

And Finally Number 1 is..............

1. Harley Quinn would have been a villain!

Harley Quinn would have been a supporting villain.

Harley Quinn has been the most anticipated villain in all of comics to be brought to the big screen and Batman Triumphant would have brought this insane beauty to life. Harley Quinn would have had a different origin, she would have been Joker's daughter and that would lead us to believe that the woman featured in Batman (1990) would have been Harley's mother.

Harley Quinn's mother? I guess we will never know.

Harley Quinn was to have revenge on Batman in Batman Triumphant and we would have been on the edge of our seats till the ending credits.
