After hearing about Robert Downey Jr.'s and Christian Bale's paychecks, I doubt there's a single actor in Hollywood who doesn't want to play some kind of superhero role, even if it is on a Netflix series.

Recently, we heard rumors that [Dexter](series:200541) star Michael C. Hall was being courted by writer-director Drew Goddard to appear in the Netflix-Marvel series of [Daredevil](series:1168702). Although it seems he hasn't been officially approached, Hall wasted no time in letting the world know he's interested. He told Vulture:

I would definitely consider it … but I can’t tell you any inside information because I think they’re nothing but rumors.

Daredevil, along with Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones are all expected to appear in a new set of Netflix exclusive series. So far we've heard little about the details of these shows, except that all the disparate characters are expected to unite in another unified series à la The Avengers. There is even talk the Netflix shows could lead to more big screen iterations of the heroes.

Daredevil is expected to commence filming this summer in New York City and will premiere on the streaming site in 2015. Goddard is down to both write and direct the first episode of Daredevil, although he'll only handle executive producing duties for the remaining 12 episode of the series.

With this time-frame in mind, I doubt we'll have wait long until we can get some more certain news about the series.

What do you think? Could Michael C. Hall pull of Daredevil, or do you have someone else in mind for the role? Let us know below.
