For a little while now it has been said that on May 6th 2016 both DC's " [Batman vs. Superman](movie:711870)" and MARVEL's " [Captain America 3](movie:994409)" will release. That's crazy right?! Two ginormous Superhero movies releasing on the same day! That's the best news for nerds and movie fans......but for MARVEL and DC this is cause for concern.

President of MARVEL, Kevin Feige has made it more than clear that MARVEL had that date locked before DC did and that there is no way they're moving. In a recent interview with the President of Domestic Distribution for Warner Bros. said the following; "It doesn't make a lot of sense for two huge superhero films to open on the same date but there is a lot of time between now and 5/6/16, however at this time, we are not considering a change date for 'Batman Vs Superman'."

He's more than right, for the studios it doesn't make sense for these movies to open against each other.

Here's how I see it, MARVEL aren't moving.....because they can afford for one of their films to not make as much as it could, that's what they're proving by holding their ground. DC can't afford to risk not making as much money as they could especially with a film like "Batman Vs Superman".

I think DC will eventually move their date because they need to make sure they bring in all of the money for this film.

In my own personal opinion, I am more excited for Captain America 3 because I know its going to be great, especially after seeing "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". I do not have the same faith in "Batman Vs Superman", now I really liked Man Of Steel, but it did have lots of issues and I am very worried about the sequel.

For decades people have been waiting for Batman and Superman to share the big screen together so obviously Batman Vs Superman is going to make more money....but I don't think it's going to be better than "Captain America 3".

Warner Bros. just need to move their date.....its the smart thing to do! They just can't afford for this movie to not meet its full box office potential! They have the two biggest superheroes ever made going into the same movie, its going to be huge, but to make sure we get a thriving DC Cinematic Universe, this movie needs to make as much as it possibly can! If DC just move this movie to....a few weeks before or after? BOOM! One of the highest grossing movies of all time! But if they keep this date.....they're doomed. I will have a lot more respect for DC if they change dates because it then shows they really want to get a bigger movie universe with these characters and create Justice League and so on!

Do you guys think DC should move dates?
