Latefox Pictures has just debuted two brand new stylish posters for their upcoming vigilante horror, The Demolisher.
The film, which begins filming in late Spring 2014, certainly sounds like an interesting premise, and if the new posters are anything to go by, it'll also be rather aesthetically pleasing. Check out the posters and Bloody Disgusting's description of the movie below:
Directed by Gabriel Carrer, The Demolisher chronicles the story of a man named Bruce (Ry Barrett), an ordinary repairman tormented by a crippling sense of responsibility for his disabled wife Samantha (Tianna Nori), a former policewoman and survivor of a gang-related assault. Bruce’s increasing hyper-sensitivity to the injustice suffered by his wife steers him down a dark path of vigilantism. His rapidly disintegrating mental health, paranoia and overwhelming sense of condemnation, Bruce channels his inner-rage, punishing young woman, Marie (Jessica Vano), and finding refuge in a world of intense violence.
According to director Gabriel Carrer, the film is:
...complex and character-driven, dealing with an outpouring of raw emotion. It delicately juggles our sympathetic nature and reactions to chance encounters, with the dangerous and addicted intoxication of violence, The film’s narrative pertains to the film industry, or any industry for that matter, and the level of abuse that can be endured.
So although the film promises to deliver hyper-violent action, there's more going on than meets the eye.
