The preview and stills from [Game of Thrones](movie:817617) season 4, episode 2 are upon us, giving us a glimpse into the upcoming events set to unfold. The episode, entitled "The Lion and the Rose" will seemingly focus on the Royal wedding of Joffrey Lannister and Margaery Tyrell (nicknamed The Purple Wedding), finally securing the Houses of Lannister and Tyrell. However, it appears not all in the realm share in the joy of the occassion; Sansa Stark visibly disheartened by the idea of a "New Queen".

The trailer for episode 2 provides us with a glimpse of what looks like Tyrion confronting Joffrey, refusing to bow. Portraying further cracks within the house of Lannister, as Tyrion toasts sarcastically "To the proud Lannister children; The cripple, the dwarf and the mother of madness". This also follows Cersei's dismissive attitude towards Jaime last week. Bran, Melisandre, Varys and Stannis Baratheon all feature within the trailer, giving them their first introduction into season 4. The final feature of the preview is a formidable Dragon shadow over a city, hinting at the arrival of Daenerys and her army at the gates of Meereen.

With George R.R. Marting writing the episode himself, we reckon it's going to be awesome. Check out the trailer below.

Below are some of the new stills from episode 4, set to air on Sunday, April 13 at 9:00 p.m. on HBO.
