Warner Bros. has dropped the first TV spot for their sci-fi spectacle Edge of Tomorrow and it will probably give you a serious case of déjà vu.

Starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt and based on the graphic novel All You Need Is Kill, [Edge of Tomorrow](movie:267902) is set in the near future in the midst of an alien invasion of Earth. Cruise plays Lt. Col. Bill Cage, a soldier who's never seen action but is thrust onto the frontline and is killed within minutes.

However, things take a turn for the weird when Cage finds himself in a time-loop and forced to experience the horrific combat again and again.

A bit like like Groundhog Day but with less whimsy.

Anyway, the TV spot is quite explodey, so give it a look below:

Live, die, rinse, repeat.

I'm still bummed that the studio decided to scrap the original title - All You Need Is Kill is so much cooler than Edge of Tomorrow - but I'm a sucker for good sci-fi, so will certainly be checking this out when it lands in theaters June 6th.

What say you? Up for some Cruise action on loop?

Which title is more badass?
