Johnny Depp has been summoned to court to help get one delusional fan off a murder charge!

Back in 2009, Nancy Lekon ran over and killed a pedestrian while driving a limo along L.A.'s Skid Row. She claims that it was all because she was in the area for a catch-up with her then-lover, Depp. A lot of people want to be in a relationship with Depp, but it seems as though Lekon's imagination has taken the story way too far!

Depp, 50, was handed court papers at the premiere of his new movie Transcendence last week. In an attempt to prove that she was insane at the time of the murder, Lekron's public defender plans to have the Pirates of the Carribean thesp state that the two have never actually met.

I don't really understand why Johnny Depp must actually be present in court when a psychiatric evaluation could provide information about Lekon's mental health, but here's hoping that Lekon's victim gets the justice she deserves and that Lekon gets the help that she needs.

Don't forget - Johnny Depp's Transcendence arrives in theaters April 18, 2014.
