Twitter was, of course, set ablaze following the hullabaloo that was Sunday night's instalment of Game of Thrones. It prompted reaction across the board, not least from some of Hollywood's biggest and brightest stars.

Iron Man director Jon Favreau stayed carefully considerate of overseas fans:

Comediennes Mindy Kaling and Elizabeth Banks expected the worst:

Anna Kendrick kept things reasonably under wraps...

... while Stephen King and Peter Dinklage did not:

THR reported that roughly 100,000 less people were discussing the show than at the same time last week. An analyst from ListenFirst also speculates that a look at the numbers might be telling as to which character fans of the show might suspect:

While no one knows for certain, if Twitter conversation is any indicator, Tyrion is a likely suspect: after Joffrey, he was the most mentioned character, racking up over 19,000 mentions, or did the Tyrell’s--Olenna and Margaery--who rang up over 8,400 mentions combined, quietly get the job done?

Thrilling stuff.
