DreamWorks is having a party for its 20th birthday - and you're invited!
Okay, so by "party", I mean "museum". And by "invited", I mean "welcome to join the curatorial project as part of the general public". But, WOW! DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition will mark the studio's biggest exhibiton to date, and follows successful exhibitions featuring the works of Pixar and Disney.
DreamWorks' chief creative officer Bill Damaschke reportedly visited the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) a while back, for the How To Train Your Dragon live show, and was so bowled over by the collection there that he asked them to collaborate on the DreamWorks exhibition.
The showcased work from the animated works of Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen's studio will celebrate twenty years of movies, from Shrek and Antz through to Kung Fu Panda, The Croods and How to Train Your Dragon.
The exhibition is already up-and-running, and will be on until October 5 at ACMI, Melbourne. Can't make it all the way to Australia? Don't worry - How to Train Your Dragon 2 will be with us in theaters by June 13, 2014!
