Check it out! Below is an unused version of the symbiote costume from the third movie of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. Why was it discarded? Because it made him "look like he was in a porno," according to those involved with a film. Really? See for yourself:

On second thought...

In my opinion, he does look like a little bit like you'd find him in a fetish dungeon. They could've used the suit but they decided to go with the more traditional black suit that ended up making it into the film.
