The X-Men's costumes have always been a contentious issue among fans. Some seem to prefer the more modern black incarnations, while many others want to see the classic yellow suits on the big screen.
At the forefront of this geek-desire is Wolverine. In many ways he is the most iconic X-Men of all, and many fans simply want to see him in his comic-book garb. Well, at a recent [X-Men: Days Of Future Past](movie:203942) Q&A session, Hugh Jackman revealed he has worn the yellow and blue outfit, although only for a very exclusive audience. When asked if he'd like to wear the original costume, Jackman replied:
I have…I mean, on film, no, but at home?
It turns out Jackman may have donned the yellow spandex at the express request of his wife. He continued:
It works really well. It’s been 18 years, I’ve got to romance her in a very kinky way.
Wow. What a lucky lady. From the look's of things, X-Men: Days of Future Past will not be satisfying comic-book fans' costume-based wants. So, if you do want to see Wolverine in his classic suit, your only option might be lingering around in the bushes outside Jackman's house with night-vision and binoculars.
NOTE: I do not officially condone these actions. They may result in arrest, prosecution and severe social embarrassment.
