Breathing movies. Humbly writing about them.

It comes as no great shock to report that Hans Zimmer will be joining Zack Snyder's team for the upcoming low budget crowd-funded indie darling Batman vs. Superman...

We jest.

But seriously, the great composer is indeed back on board. He sat down with Digital Spy to talk about that upcoming behemoth as well as director Christopher Nolan's equally anticipated Interstellar...

We've already had a couple of chats, and once I finish the movie that I shall not talk about I will probably head over to where Zack is shooting his movie and just hang out a bit and see if we can come up with any ideas

...and the issue of writing another theme for Affleck's caped crusader:

That's my problem, that's my dilemma. I don't want to betray, if that's the right word, the Dark Knight movies. That was Christian, it was Christian's role. It's not just that it was nine years of our lives, so you want to stay honest and honourable to that period. So it's really about, 'Is there something else I can find that I haven't tapped into?' Which I don't know until I sit down with Zack.

A warmly welcome, if obvious, choice. The muscular composer, of course, held the batons for Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, The Amazing Spiderman 2 and Snyder's Man of Steel.

Again, we can expect plenty of this.

You can expect Batman vs. Superman (vs Captain America 3) on May 6th 2016
