As I'm sure you've no doubt noticed, there is a vastly expanding trend of 'Lego-fying' everything known to man. Soon, I think we can fully expect to see major world monuments torn down, and then reconstructed with Lego. Yep, that is definitely going to happen.

The Simpsons seems to be the latest franchise to jump on the Lego band-wagon. It is following in the footsteps of Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones and The Hobbit (to name only the big ones) who have made Lego iterations of their properties. To illustrate this fact, The Simpsons Facebook page has just debuted an image from the upcoming Legofied episode, titled Brick Like Me. Check it out below:

The Lego episode will mark The Simpsons 550th episode. Now, I don't know about you, but I kind of feel like The Simpsons jumped the shark about 10 seasons ago. Now it seems to purely be a depository for celebrity cameos, Halloween specials, parodies and strange episodes like this.

What do you think? A great concept for an episode, or further proof The Simpsons has gone on too long? Let us know below.
