One of the big unanswered questions for all Walking Dead fans is will we ever see Morgan return on the show? The troubled widower was last seen cleaning the streets of walkers in King County, GA, and as far as we know, that's where he's remained.
Showrunner, Scott M. Gimple, recently talked to Larry King about all things zompocalypse, and when the issue of Morgan's return was raised, his response was undead music to the ears of all us fans:
I am so determined to make that happen by hook and by crook that I can say definitively, ‘Yes'. But there's time and tide that can get in the way.
Morgan's coming back baby!
Despite his relatively short screen time, Morgan is something of a Walking Dead fan favorite. This is partly to do with the character's captivating storyline and a lot to do with the incredible performance of Lennie James.
So will we see Morgan as early as Season 5? It's hard to know for sure, but perhaps he could have a hand in Rick and the group escaping from Terminus?
Alternatively, they could borrow the storyline from the comics, where he's picked up by Rick and Abraham as they scavenge for supplies for their trip to Washington DC. And considering Gimple's enthusiasm for adapting the source material, this would seem the most likely route for Morgan's return.
But however it happens, it will be great to catch up with an old friend.
How would you like to see Morgan reintroduced on [The Walking Dead](series:201193)?
