Joe Wright has made some high-profile adaptations including Atonement, Pride & Prejudice and Anna Karenina - and his latest project looks like it will continue that tradition.

Pan is an adaptation of J.M. Barrie's classic Peter Pan, but one that gives Peter an origin story, showing him first arrive in Neverland after growing up in an orphanage.

The film already has an illustrious cast with Hugh Jackman set to appear in the movie as Blackbeard and Garret Hedlund as Hook. But now Amanda Seyfried is joining too, as Mary.

Seyfried, who made her debut in Mean Girls, has starred most recently in movies such as Lovelace and Les Miserables.
